JONATHAN SAVES DAVID, HIS BEST FRIEND.

Bible Passage: 1 Samuel 19:1-3, 20:1-3, 32-42.

Jonathan, son of king Saul liked David a lot. Even though David had made the king proud by killing Goliath and had saved the lives of his people, king Saul grew jealous of David. He wanted yo kill him. Of course, Jonathan did not want his friend to die. He and David agreed in today’s passage on a sign that will make David know for sure if he must run away from the king. Jonathan proved yo be a friend that could be trusted and saved his friend from early death. It is good to keep friends and to be a true friend to others. That does not mean covering them up by lying when they go wrong but helping them. One very important way of helping is to tell them about Christ if they are not yet Christians. That WSU you will help save them from hell.
