Bible Passage:  Ruth 2:1-2, 3:1-4, 4:1-7, 4:22

Since Ruth was still a young woman when her husband died, Naomi tried to find her another good husband. She wanted him to be one of her relations because Ruth was a good woman and it was the custom of the Jews (Israelites). Boas was the one who agreed to marry Ruth and she gave birth to a son, Obed by him. Obed being the father of Jesse, the father of David, Ruth is in the family of Jesus!
