DAY 73 THE SUN AND MOON STAND STILL AT JOSHUA’S COMMAND
Bible Passage: Joshua 10:12-15
Just imagine going out when it is supposed to be night, say 12 midnight and it is bright daylight with the sun in the middle of the sky where it has been since noon. You will know that something unusual is happening, even if you, as scientists do, believe that it is the earth that moves around the sun. That there is no movement will look strange and everyone will be wondering about what may be happening. The radio and television stations, scientists and government officials will be trying to find explanations and calming people down. Some people will not go out because of fear! What do you think people will do if someone came forward and announced that he commanded the sun and moon to stop? Some will laugh and say he is out of his mind (that is, crazy).
By now you must know that God does wonders through those who obey Hom and do His will. Note that the people do not do the things in their own power but God does things through them.
