DAY 45  THE ISRAELITES DOUBT GOD BUT MOSES TRUSTS HIM

Bible Passage : Exodus 14:10-14

When things do not go smoothly for us, we tend to forget that God never fails. He is not weak like us, so He does not tell lies and He ALWAYS fulfils His promises. The Israelites has forgotten that God promised you get them out of slavery and provide them fertile land in Canaan. It may be because they could not see God talking to them physically but Moses always knew when God was talking to him.

Moses did not doubt God but simply asked Him to get them out of trouble. The Israelites were looking backwards instead of forwards. They thought going back into slavery was better than continuing on their journey. They were not looking ahead and asking God to make a way for them.

Many times we are like the Istaelites; we forget the GREST POWER of God that’s is able to do ANYTHING. There is nothing impossible with God; ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE IF ONLY WE BELIEVE.  All we need to do like Moses is to go to Him in prayer and He will do what is best for us,  not necessarily what we think is good for us. He always knows what we need but gives us the freedom to ask. WE MUST NEVER DOUBT GOD.

TODAY’S ACTION

Make a list of those things you want God to do for you. Consider each one and decide whether they are really necessary or not. Cross off those that are not, then pray about the rest, thanking God for answering you. Tick items on your list as you have answers to them.   REMEMBER, DO MOT DOUBT GOD  You will have TESTIMONIES.
