JESUS RAISES LAZARUS FROM DEATH*
Bible Passage John 11:1-6, 17-23, 38-44
Lazarus was the brother of Mary who poured perfume on the Lord's feet and wiped them with her hair. He lived in Bethany with his sisters who were followers of the Lord. When Lazarus was still sick, the sisters sent a message to Jesus so that He could come and heal His friend. Instead of going there immediately, Jesus waited 2 days until Lazarus died. By the time He arrived at Bethany, Lazarus had been dead 4 days! Yet as Jesus said, the people saw the glory of God when Jesus said "Lazarus, come out! "and the dead man came out of the tomb.
