Bible Passage John 9:1-11
Some illnesses are a result of our sin against God. In today's passage however, Jesus Himself confirmed that the man's blindness was not a result of his sin or that of his parents. Jesus also had to prepare a paste with sand and His saliva to treat the man. He did not just command the man to open his eyes as He did when He healed others. That should show us that healing comes by different means. We may need to take some medicines or have surgical operation. We should pray even before going to see the doctor.
