Sometimes we are too busy to help others.  The Priest and the Levite in today's passage are supposed to be godly persons who should help others.  Did they help?  The Samaritan who should not even touch a Jew is the one who helped.  It is a great lesson.  There should be no person, whether black or white or from another country or ethnic group, rich or poor etc. that a Christian cannot help.  With a Christian, all persons, unless they are sinners and they refuse to change should be welcome.  We are to even love sinners but not their sins and we should correct them in love.
