DEMONS OBEY JESUS

Bible Passage Mat 8:24-34 (also in Mark 5:1-20 and Luke 8:26-39)

Demons are evil spirits from Satan (the devil). They are cruel and wicked and make people do very bad things. Some mad people have demons in them. When Jesus asked the demons in the two mad men we read about today to go into pigs, they obeyed Him! The pigs ran into a lake and all died. Imagine, the people of that vilage preferred the pigs to the two men who were now normal? Instead of thanking Jesus for healing the men and destroying the demons in water, they were angry and asked Him to go away from their village. They did not realise the blessings they were drivng away. He would have done more wonders there.

TODAY'S ACTION

Pray that you will never refuse the blessings of God.
