JESUS FORGIVES SINS

Bible Passage Mat 9:1-8 (also in Mark 5:1-20, and Luke 8:26-39)

Not every sickness is a result of sin but in today's passage, Jesus knew that the man was paralysed because of sin. A leg or arm is paralysed if it cannot be moved or used; it is usually thinner than the normal one, if it has been paralysed over a long period of time, It was by forgiving the man that Jesus healed him. He still does the same today and if we ask Him to forgive our sins, He will.

TODAY'S ACTION

Ask a doctor or nurse about the causes of paralysis. Pray for those who are paralysed that if it is because of sin, God should forgive them.
