AMOS
This book is a record of the message of prophet Amos who preached in the northern kingdom of Isreal. He noticed that the rich ones were not treating the poor ones well and called for justice.
DAY 148 VISION OF DESTRUCTION THEN RESTORATION
Bible Reading Amos 7:1-6, 9:11-15
Like prophet Joel, Amos described a vision in which locusts destroyed plants and another one in which fire burnt up the ocean! This means no food and no water leading to a lot of deaths. However, just as the other prophets also preached, if the people repented, then God will restore all the things they have lost.
