The message of Prophet Obadiah is about Edom, one of the nations that rejoiced when Jerusalem fell.  He talks about the punishment of Edom.  The book, like Jude 2 John and 3 John has only one chapter.

DAY 149  PUNISHMENT FOR EDOM

Bible Reading Obadiah 1-11

The whole book of 21 verses tells about how God is not happy when we do not help our neighbours or friends in trouble.  Isreal was in trouble but instead of Edom helping, it was stealing the things left in Jerusalem after it fell to the Babylonians.  Remember, we should help

not only our friends, but even strangers and classmates who may not be very friendly with us.
