DAY 88 SEEING ONLY OTHER PEOPLES FAULTS
Bible Passage 2 Samuel 12:1-10
When prophet Nathan told David the story of the rich man's cruelty, David became
very angry and said the man who did such a thing should be killed! Little did he know
that the prophet used the story to describe what he, the king had just done to Uriah! If
he had known, he would probably have been giving excuses to cover up his sin. It is
very easy to see other people's faults (wrong doings) and not our own. Before judging
others, we must be sure that we are not hiding our own sins because there is no small
sin before God.
TODAY'S ACTION
Have you been paying more attention to faults in others? Pray now that God will show
you your own faults, even those that you are not aware of. If you remember any, ask
God to help you to make corrections.
