Bible Passage:  1Samuel 3:4-14

Samuel was a child who feared God. From a very young age of about 2 years (when he was able to eat adult foods), his mother left him with Eli, the priest. Unlike Eli’s sons, Samuel did what was right in God’s sight. God spoke to him when he was still very young and did not know God’s voice. He did not know God was the one calling him until Eli, an experienced priest told him so. God still speaks to us today in many ways; through the Bible, our pastors and church leaders, even through our parents, teachers, brothers, sisters, friends etc. If what they say is what the Bible says, then it is God speaking through hem to you.
