DAY 76   SAMSON, THE CHOSEN ONE WHO FAILED

Bible Passage:  Judges 23:3-6, 14:5-6, 16:4-5 & 15-21

Even before Samson was born, his parents were told by angels that he was a special child, to be dedicated (set apart) for God. He had unusual strength until he disobeyed God by marrying a Phillistine and telling her the secret of his power. He lost all his power and was severely punished by the Phillistines who went as far as removing his eyes. God’s children (and I hope you are one now) must be careful that they do not sin against God. Since none of us is above mistake, we must always remember to confess all sins to God and ask for His forgiveness.
