Bible Passage : Exodus 15:20-27

The faith the Israelites had in God and Moses after seeing the wonders God performed to hel them cross the Red Sea was short lived, that is it did not last long. As soon as they faced another problem, they started to complain and wanted to go back to their slavery in Egypt. Can you imagine that? Even after knowing that all that Money did for former problems was to pray to God, they still did not do the right thing.

It was Moses who prayed again and God honoured his faith by performing yet another miracle. Just dropping a piece of wood into bitter water changed it into water that was fit for drinking. We are told that in this place called Marah (because the water was bitter) God have the Israelites laws to live by. You will see later on in the Bible

that God eventually WROTE the laws on tablets so that the Israelites will remember them.

God promised them that if they obeyed the laws He will not punish them with any of the diseases He brought on the Egyptians; but did they obey? You will find out as we read more of the Bible.

TODAY’S ACTION

Tell at least two of your friends about the miracle of the crossing of the Red Sea and the miracle of today. Encourage them to make sure they read the Bible passages also
