DAY 40  WITH GOD, THE DEVIL IS POWERLESS

Bible Passage: Exodus 12:29-36

Even though Moses warned Pharaoh about the deaths of the Egyptian first born sons and the first born of their animals Pharaoh could not do anything  to stop it in his own power. He either obeyed God or faced the consequences of disobedience. Remember that God created light on the first day of creation. He separated light from darkness. Light has great power over darkness.

The devil would rather destroy than create and his power can never match that of God. If he had the power he would have made it possible for Pharaoh’s magicians to change the darkness that kept Egyptians indoors for 3 days into light and prevented he deaths of the firstborn sons.

James 4:7 says “Resist the devil and he will flee from you” and ....... “ He that is in us is greater than he that is in the world. The latter applies only to those who have confessed their sins and invited Christ to come into their lives. If you have not, then please DO SO NOW.

Put your entire trust in Godand let Him control your life. Then the devil can never have power over you. In fact you will have power over him, Hallelujah!

TODAY’S ACTION
