Bible Passage : Exodus 10: 21 - 29

Today's plague or disaster is the 9th one that Pharaoh brought on the Egyptians by his stubborness and yet, he would not let the Israelites go. The devil, a clever deceiver even made him believe that he had the power to kill Moses, God's chosen leader of the Israelites.

He boasted that the day he set his eyes on Moses again, he, Moses would die. Moses was not frightened; he replied the devil in Pharaoh by saying "you are right; you will never see me again" but did not mean that he would die. Rather, he was assuring Pharaoh of the fact he was certain about; he knew that God was going to deliver the Isrealites soon and he would no longer need to see Pharaoh. That is the type of confidence we should have in God.
