DAY 11: THE GREAT SACRIFICE
Picture : Abraham about to kill Isaac on an altar and a lamb caught in the bushes.
Bible Passage : Gen. 22: 1 - 19
Abraham was a man who trusted God. Remember he did not know where God was leading him but he left his home to go wherever God directed him. Having been assured that he will have a son through whom he would become the father of a great nation, can you imagine him obeying God to kill that one son as a sacrifice? That was great faith. Knowing that God would not go back on His promises, whatever God asked him to do, he obeyed.
We are all advised to trust God with our lives and every aspect of our lives like this. We will never regret it; rather, we will be blessed.
TODAY'S ACTION
Decide to trust God more, pray for faith and more blessings from God. Tell someone about Abraham's faith in God.
