Stones are very hard and cannot be broken easily. That is why they are used in building strong houses. Some stones are called precious stones (stones like diamond, emerald, sapphire, ruby et cetera).  All these stones have no life. Peter calls Jesus Christ the "living stone" because He is strong and He is the foundation of the church.  A foundation is what houses stand on. The church or a group of Christians is the body.

TODAY'S ACTION

Find out the colours of the stones mentioned above.  Pray that you will be a precious, living stone for the building of the church of Christ.
