THROUGH THE BIBLE DAILY DEVOTIONS FOR CHILDREN PAUL'S COMMAND TO TIMOTHY

Bible Passage: 2 Timothy 4: 1-8

The last 3 verses in this passage describe Paul's happiness about the type of life he has lived.  He was now old and waiting for the day he would be with the Lord.  As an example, he had fought well, ran his race to the end and was sure he would be given a crown. His command to Timothy was to do likewise; to "preach The Good News".

TODAY'S ACTION

Thank God for Paul's example.  Pray that you will also be able to say like Paul " I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race" when you grow old.
