In spite of Paul's first letter in which he answered questions about the Lord's coming, some Thessalonian Christians still did not understand. This caused a lot of arguments in the church. Paul's second letter was to correct the idea that the day of the Lord's coming had already come.

THINGS THAT WILL HAPPEN BEFORE THE DAY OF THE LORD

Bible Passage 2 Thessalonians 2:1-10

In this letter, Paul tells the Thessalonians about what we have already read in Daniel 12 and Matthew 24. He told them about the evil days when "The awful horror" will happen. The "Man of evil" or "The Anti-Christ" will go into God's temple and deceive people, claiming to be God. The Lord will not come until after all these have happened. We should not be afraid of the days but be ready by doing God's will.

Pray for those who are still being taught the wrong things about Jesus and heaven. Pray that they will have the chance to read and understand the truth in the Bible or that God will send someone to explain it to them.
