AN ANGEL APPEARS TO MARY

Bible Passage  Luke 1:26-38

Matthew only told us that an angel appeared to Joseph.  Luke tells us that one also appeared to Mary.  Angel Gabriel told Mary that her pregnancy was from the Holy Spirit and that the child will be called Jesus.  He even told her that her older cousin Elizabeth was six months pregnant.  Mary visited Elizabeth after this.  Maybe she wanted to find out if what the angel said was true.  You will read about it tomorrow.
