JESUS IS TAKEN UP TO HEAVEN

Bible Passage 16:19-20 (Also in Luke 24:50-53, Acts 1:9-11)

Jesus made sure that He gave final instructions and words of encouragement to His followers before leaving them.  Luke reports that He was taken up to heaven in BETHANY.  Remember Bethany?  A lot of miracles were performed there and the friends of Jesus, Mary, Martha and Lazarus lived there.  It was where He raised Lazarus from death!
