If only the priests, soldiers and people knew that Jesus would not try to show His power because that was not God's plan, they would not have been insulting Him.

Just as the psalmist said in Psalms 22:7-8, the people also mocked Jesus, saying all sorts of things to annoy Him.  He really suffered for you and I.   He was nailed to the cross between two robbers.  You will read about what they said to Jesus in the book of Luke.

Draw a cross.  As you draw, think of what Jesus did for you and thank Him.  If you have not yet asked Him to be your saviour, do so now.
