JUDAS PLANS WITH THE PRIESTS

Bible Passage  -Mat 26:14-16 (Also in Mark 14:10-11, Luke 22:3-6)

Judas was one of the 12 followers that were close to Jesus.  Do you remember that he was one of the first 12 Jesus called?  He turned from being a friend to being an enemy of Jesus only because of money.  The priests gave him 30 pieces of silver and he was willing to give Jesus to them so that they could kill him.  That is what Satan does with money.  Even today, there are many who behave like Judas in many ways.  They do not think about Jesus or do what He wants.  They run after money and other things they think are important. They also behave like the person described in Psalms 41:9!

TODAY'S ACTION

Pray that you will not put money or anything in the place of Jesus. Jesus must be first in our lives.

Read Psalm 41, verse 9(41:9) it is what the “419” (four-one-nine), that is those who cheat others practice!!
