A WOMAN POURS PERFUME ON JESUS

Bible Passage - Mat. 26:6-13 (Also in Mark 14:3-9, John 12:1-8)

John reports that this woman was Mary, the sister of Lazarus who lived in Bethany.  The disciples did not know the meaning of what she did.  They thought she was wasting something very expensive.  Jesus knew what it meant; preparation for the day of His burial.  The time that Jesus would be killed was near, and He knew it, He was not afraid because He knew He always did the will of God.

TODAY'S ACTION

Think. Is there anything too great or too expensive for you to give to God?  Pray that you will be able to use your things for God.
