HOW TO FAST

Fasting is a form of prayer without words. Fasting as a prayer helps us to humble ourselves before God and draw nearer to Him. We can decide when we want to fast but as Jesus said, we should not make it obvious (easily known) to people that we are fasting. We should be prayerful but that does not mean we cannot be cheerful. Children like you can and do fast. You can do without food or something else that you really like. The most important thing to remember is that you must be prayerful.

Plan to fast once this week. You may even try going without one meal today.
