THROUGH THE BIBLE DIALY DEVOTIONS FOR CHILDREN

MICAH

The book of Micah is a warning that Judah the southern kingdom may face the same kind of punishment prophet Amos warned Edom about.  He talks about good things that will happen if the nation of Judah obeyed God.  Micah is on the prophets who talked about the coming of Jesus.

DAY 153 TRUTH IS BITTER

Bible Reading - Micah 2:6-11

When we say "truth is bitter", we mean that people don't always want to hear the truth.  They know that what they are doing is wrong but they don't want anyone to correct them.   It was the Prophets who did not want Micah to say the truth just like some leaders who behave in "do as l say, not as l do".  They know God's laws and tell people about them but they continue to do the wrong things.  Before we correct others, we must also do the right things.

TODAY'S ACTION

Pray for leaders to live as good examples to others.
