THROUGH THE BIBLE DAILY DEVOTIONS FOR CHILDREN

HOSEA

This book about Prophet Hosea who preached in the northern part of Israel uses the unfaithfulness of Hosea's wife to describe how the people of Israel were unfaithful to God. When people worship idols instead of God, they are like a woman who leaves her husband instead of taking care of him.

DAY 146 ISREAL REPENTS AND GOD FORGIVES HER

Bible Reading - Hosea 14:1-9

God is very happy when we realize we have done something wrong and ask for His forgiveness.  He is a loving, merciful father from whom we may be pulled away by our own mistakes and sins.  God promised that whenever the people of Israel realized that Assyria and their idols cannot help them and return to Him, He will receive them and love them.  The same applies to us today. If we realize our wrong doings and change, God will be pleased with us.

TODAY'S ACTION

Pray for all God’s messengers that as they speak God's Word, our hearts will be touched and we will repent, change our behavior and return to God.
