EZEKIEL
The book is about prophet Ezekiel who lived in Babylon before and after his people
were captured from Jerusalem. As a priest, he talked a lot about holiness and the
importance of the temple. He describes vision of God and God's throne and writes about about his call as a prophet, warning about God's judgement on Israel and her oppressors, comfort for Israel after the fall of Jerusalem and the restored nation and temple.

DAY 139 DRY BONES BECOME HUMAN AND LIVE
Bible Passage Ezekiel 37:1-14
Prophet Ezekiel, like other prophets had many visions and messages from God.
Today's passage is one of the popular visions. It is God's response to the cry of the
people of Israel when they were sober and asked God for forgiveness. The dry bones
represent the household of Israel (that is Israel and Judah) who had lost hope. God
forgave them and told Ezekiel to prophesy to the dry bones. The bones were returned
to normal, meaning that God will bring them out of Babylon where they were slaves
and return them to their own homes. He would also renew them spiritually. What a
merciful God and father we have.
