DAY 136 FALSE PROPHETS
Bible Passage Jer. 28:1-9, 17-18
Hananiah, the false prophet was only saying what he knew the people would love to
hear. The sayings of true prophets happen even if not immediately. Some things that
prophets say will happen do not happen until many years later. Do you remember what
prophet Isaiah and others said about Jesus long before He was born? Jeremiah talked
about the fall of Jerusalem and it happened (Jer. 52:14). False prophets mislead people
and one can know them by checking to see if what they are saying is in line with the
teachings of the Bible.

TODAY'S ACTION
Do you always want to know the future or have you been going to fortune tellers.? It is
not a good habit. God does not want you to go to them, so pray now for forgiveness. if
you have never been to them, pray that you never will.
