DAY 131 USELESS IDOLS
Bible Passage Isaiah 44:9-20
Isaiah here describes exactly what people do when they make idols and bow down to
them. They use their own hands to make them or they know that a person has made
them, yet they bow down and worship them. Have you ever seen an idol that can eat or
talk? I have not! They are dead and stay in the same place since they have no power to
move. They cannot hear or understand what people say to them and they cannot
answer. Some Christians make the mistake of treating little crosses and Bibles like
idols. We should never worship the cross or our Bibles but worship ONLY God.

TODAY'S ACTION
Do you worship an idol or God? If you have been worshipping an idol, today is the
time to stop. Worship God now and thank him for what He is doing in your life.
