KING SLOMON’S WISE DECISION

Bible Passage: 2 Kings 3 16-28.

Solomon could have decided that one of the women in today’s passage would have the baby. He could have found a woman to take care of the baby for him as Pharaoh, daughter did when she found Moses. (Exodus) He was rich enough to bring the child up as one of his own. Instead he used the test of true love. Nobody who is normal would want to see a loved one cut into two. It was God who gave Solomon the wisdom to use the test described.

TODAY’S ACTION

When we truly love a person, we should not hurt him or her. As God’s children we should even love those who hurt us. Pray to have God’s type of love for those you may come in contact with.
