Bible Passage: Numbers 16:1-3, 19-21, 28-30
Today’s passages tell us of another type of punishment for those who do not respect their leaders. Do you remember someone who had a skin disease because she did not respect her leader, Moses who was a humble and God fearing leader. Well, the people in today’s passage also had no respect for Moses and started troubling him. God killed them all by making the ground to swallow them. We must respect those whom God has chosen to be our leaders or suffer for disobeying God. Of course leaders must also do the will of God so that people can respect them.
