Bible Passage : Numbers 13:17-20,

26-40 and 14:5-9

A discourages is someone who prevents another from doing the right thing by saying it is not right or it will not work. When we know that a person is doing something good, we should help rather than prevent it from being done. We must also learn to trust God. Moses and Joshua trusted God who had said He would take them to the “ promised land”. They were now near the land and instead of going in, those people sent to check the land said so many negative things to prevent the Israelites from going in. They were discouragers.
