THE FIRST SIN
Bible Passage: Gen. 2: 8-17, 3: 1-24
The very first sin was the sin of disobedience. God, after creating human beings gave them all sorts of animals and plants to eat but told them not to eat the fruits of ONLY 2 trees. Do you remember what they were (Gen. 2: 16-17).
Both of them ate from one of the trees. Which one was it? --------------------------------------
They were both punished severely by God who in his love had made man to be like himself.
It is still the devil that tempts us to do wrong things today. When you disobey your parents or your teacher or your seniors, remember that it is the devil at work and you should not allow him to use you. Even when nobody sees you doing the wrong thing, remember that God sees everything and you will be punished.

Think of all the wrong things, you did yesterday and ask God to forgive you. If it is something that you can still change, then, do the right thing today. Pray that God will help you not to listen to the devil or be used by him.
