Many times we want things from God but what we want may not be good for us. God said He will supply all our "needs" (Philippians 4:19) but not all our" wants". You may need a toy and God wants to give you one, but you may be asking for a very expensive one when God knows that what you really need is one that is cheap. Buying the cheap one will make it possible for your parents to use the remaining money for other important things. We must not think of ourselves only when we ask God for things
