THE LORD'S COMMAND ON MARRIAGE*

Bible Passage  1 Corinthians 7:10-16

Paul, as soon as he gives a command in today’s passage says that it is not from him but from the Lord. We have read how Jesus also said that marriage is for one man and one woman, and the two should stay together. Society makes people forget about this very important command. The Christian is told to keep to the husband/wife even if they are unbelievers. It is only if the unbeliever decides to leave that separation is allowed.
