It is true that many people believe in Jesus only after they have seen signs.  The officer believed in Jesus just because the time that Jesus said “Your son will live” even without seeing the child, was the exact time that the fever left that child.  Some are still like that today, they only go where they are told that miracles happen.  We must be careful not to confuse miracles with magic.  Jesus warned us that there will be false prophets after Him.
