SOLDIERS WARNED NOT TO SAY THE TRUTH ABOUT JESUS

Bible Passage Mat. 28:11-15

The soldiers wanted to let people know that Jesus rose from the dead as He had said.  They saw what happened but no, the priests did not want others to know.  They could not face the people to say that Jesus was right after all.

They actually paid the soldiers just as some people pay today to hide the truth.  It is far better not to tell lies because no matter how long it takes, the truth will be known.  The truth is written in the Bible for so many to read today, so many years after it happened.

TODAY'S ACTION

Pray that our leaders will stand for the truth at all times.  Pray also that you will be able to drive the devil away anytime he wants you to tell a lie.
