THE PRIESTS ASK FOR SOLDIERS TO GUARD THE TOMB

Even with all they saw, the priests still doubted.  They wanted soldiers to guard the tomb so that no one could steal the body of Jesus.  They remembered He had said that after 3 days, He would rise up. How unwise the priests were!  Did they think they could prevent the power of God from working?   You will soon read about what happened.
