Jesus warned about the end times and His second coming using different stories and illustration, He tried in these many different ways to let people see how serious His warnings were.  The people were too busy or uncaring enough to do anything about their way of living.  They enjoyed life so much.  The 5 foolish maids were there for the wedding but were they ready?  No, they had no oil in their lamps and there was none to borrow or buy!!
