THE KINDGDOM OF GOD LIKE A WEDDING FEAST

Bible Passage - Mat. 22:1-14 (Also in Luke 14:15-24)

Jesus used many stories and things that were familiar to the people to tell them about heaven and how to get there.  Weddings are very common and you can only go to some if you are invited.  Those who were invited first are those who heard about Jesus and heaven but did not believe.  They did not attend the wedding feast, meaning they did not go to heaven.

The second group was invited and all went to the feast but one was not properly dressed.  That means he was not prepared for the feast (heaven).  Like the people in the first group, he was not allowed to enjoy heaven.

TODAY'S ACTION

Pray that you will never do anything that will prevent you from going to heaven.
