COIN INSIDE A FISH
Bible Passage Mat 17;24-27
Today's passage is really about payment of tax. A tax is an amount that everyone working must pay back to the Government. The money is used for repairing roads, constructing new ones, building public houses, cleaning the environment and providing things for the use of people generally. Jesus and His disciples were not workers, but just to prevent trouble, He asked Peter to go and find that fish. It was His special power that made Him see the coin inside the fish. It was just adequate for their tax and Jesus paid. Jesus also showed the example that we must obey the laws of our country as long as they do not make us sin against God.
