JESUS TALKS ABUT HIS DEATH

Bible Passage Mat 16:21-28 (also in Mark 8:31-9:1 and Luke 9:22-27)

Jesus knew about the future. He knew all the things that would happen to Him but He did not change them because they were God's will. Peter who loved Jesus did not like what Jesus was saying and did not want Him to die so soon. Jesus however knew that He MUST die for our sins, so that we can be saved. We must always thank Him for this great sacrifice of laying down His life for us.
