Jesus used fish to represent people many times. Remember He told His disciples (followers) "I will make you fishers of men". Just like the passage of yesterday, today's passage is telling us about what will happen to good and bad people on judgment day. Just like the prophets did, Jesus warned people several times about the punishment for bad people.
