WHAT TYPE OF SOIL ARE YOU?

Bible Passage Mat 13:1-9 (also in Mark 4:1-9 and Luke 8:4-8)

Jesus used the soil to represent the hearts of people. The seeds that the farmer was sowing represent the Word of God. Only good soils allow the seeds to grow well in them. Those are the hearts that are ready and willing to hear the word of God and do what God says. Many people hear the Word of God every Sunday but as soon as they step out of their churches, they forget about the Word. They do the very things they are not supposed to do, like cheating, stealing, telling lies etc.
