SATAN (THE DEVIL) TEMPTS JESUS

Bible Passage  Mat 4:1-11 (also in Mark 1:12-13, Luke 4:1-13)

To tempt is to try to make a person sin or do the wrong thing. Just imagine the devil trying to make the son of God sin. The devil has many tricks that he plays on people to make them sin. He even quoted Psalms 91:11-12 to convince Jesus. Satan suggests ideas to people just as he did to Jesus. The best way to deal with him is to remember God's words and to use them to drive satan away. The Bible (God's word) tells us things we should not do and if we do not want God to punish us, we must not do them. We must remind satan of the fact that we are God's children and not satan's.

Pray that God will help you not to listen to satan whenever he suggests bad ideas.
